Hello All!

It’s time for one of the most wonderful times of the year again, BEST Course Application Season!

The Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) is inviting Canadian engineering student to apply to attend their complementary education courses all over Europe!

These are short courses (1-2 weeks) that focus on a particular technical topic. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a European city with students of technology from all over Europe, to learn how complementary education courses are organised in BEST, and of course to have fun.

In the attachment of this e-mail, you will find a list with all the available courses for the upcoming season, as well as further details on the application process, and expectations of your role as a CFES volunteer co-organiser/participant.

Please note these courses are in English. Your application letter and correspondence to the groups must be completed in English, and you must be comfortable using English for all written and oral communication. Likewise, of note, nearly everyone in BEST speaks English as a second language, so please do not think this opportunity is in any way limited to native English speakers; BEST courses are a great way to improve their English skills without feeling uncomfortable/out of place.

All Engineering Students from a CFES member school are welcome to apply. Deadline for applications is October 14, 2018 23:00 CET (don’t follow the date on the BEST website). You should get the information if you were accepted to a course (and which ones) by: October 27th 2018.

I encourage everyone who is able, to apply- this is an amazing opportunity to learn from experts about diverse technical topics and network with students from countries across Europe. (Plus accumulate a whole bunch of BESTies 🙂 )

If you have any questions whatsoever please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please carefully read the entirety of this email and attached documents before applying.

1: Students must apply on the google forms below, or at cfes.ca/best-courses and NOT on the BEST website
