Nomination forms will be available in the EngSoc Office from Thursday, September 20, 2018 @ 8:30am to Monday, September 24, 2018 @ 5:00pm. Submit your completed form to the EngSoc office. Submissions can also be scanned in and emailed to email@example.com by the deadline.
Campaigning runs from Tuesday, September 25, 2018 @ 8:30am to Friday, September 28, 2018 @ 5:00pm.
Voting will be from Monday, October 1, 2018 @ 8:30am to Tuesday, October @ 5:00pm. Decisions will be announced later in the week.

Guelph Innovations Society (GIS) is holding their elections on Wednesday Sept 26 in THRN 1002! We are looking for a club website coordinator and several build-time officers who will supervise GIS open lab hours. GUELPH GOLDEN GEARS – CAN WE RUN RELAY
Come join us for the CAN We Run Relay to support the Campus Foodbank. It’s a 3 person 3k relay (1k each) with fun obstacles. Join as a team of 3 or free agent. To participate, bring a 1 non-perishable item (your baton) or $3 to donate.
There will be prizes for fastest team and for the most food collected.

GUELPH GOLDEN GEARS – DONKEY PACE FOR THE DONKEYS VOLUNTEERING
On Sunday, September 30th, from 9:30am-11:30am, we will be volunteering at the Donkey Sanctuary PACE for the Donkeys Run! Mood Walks is a new program initiated by the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health. These groups aim to support the mental and physical health of students by providing them with an opportunity to take a break from their stresses and engaged with their community. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome every Tuesday at noon in front of the arena.
NASA SPACE APPS HACKATHON
SkyWatch will be hosting the next NASA Space Apps hackathon October 19-21 at Communitech, in Waterloo. Space Apps is a worldwide hackathon organized in partnership with NASA and they expect 25,000 global participants this year, in over 200 host cities. ROBOTICS TEAM FIRST MEETING
The University of Guelph Robotics Team is back and better than ever! We will be participating in the 2019 Canadian International Rover Challenge! This is a competition that draws teams from all over the world, and we want to show them what Guelph Engineering is all about.
This will be our main project for the year, however we also plan to host a few workshops and in-house competitions during the year.
We have a new organizational structure and hope to get as many students involved as possible. We are actively looking for members to work in all sub-groups. Whether you are interested in mechatronics, chassis and suspension design, electronics, software, marketing, or graphics and design, there’s something that you can help with!
If you are interested, we are having an info meeting on Wednesday, September 19 at 7PM in THRN 1006. We hope to see new and familiar faces there!
