ESW is a national organization, whose mission is to empower people to tackle sustainability challenges. Some hands-on projects we have going on; building a hydroponics system and a greenhouse made from recycled plastics. We are always open to new project ideas and discussions about sustainable issues!

Welcome to Lab Fund season! Lab Fund request forms are due on Monday, January 28th at 12:00 pm (Noon). This is earlier in the semester than usual, but that is to ensure that funding can be approved sooner and purchase requests can be made. The Lab Fund meeting is tentatively set for the evening of Wednesday, February 6th, 2019.

Here are some important things to keep in mind:
Only one, as per the constitution that was updated in Fall 2018. This is needed for all item types including retrievable, consumable, research, and organization specific items.
- The quote must from be a reputable retailer
- Failure to include a proper quote can make your request unconstitutional, meaning you will not be able to use Lab Fund money to buy it.
- Retailer name
- Item Subtotal
- Shipping and Handling (use school address)
- Any additional cost related to purchasing the item
- Fill out information related to your quote. If the item is at a price in US Dollars, multiply the amount by 1.5 to adjust for the exchange rate as well as border handling fees.
- If it is a for a group, such as machine design or 41x, include the group number and a complete list of individuals in the group.
ONTARIO ENGINEERING COMPETITION
Guelph will be hosting the Ontario Engineering Competition for 2020. With 16 different engineering institutions and over 300 delegates attending, HELP US PLAN THIS COMPETITION!!! We are currently looking for VP positions.
