1. CHEERS & GEARS – ENGINE GREASE
This year’s C&G performance is GREASE the ENGINEERING MUSICAL, and we are looking for Crew and music people. This is our first engineering musical, and we need your help! It is an engineering adaption of Grease including songs: “A Job is All I Want”, “Summer Labs”, “Engineer Dropout” and many more, with enough aggie/farming/midterm/prof/
Crew positions: Producer/Directing Assistant (someone to help the show run smoothly and learn how to direct for next year’s play), Costumes Manager, Props Manager, Sets Manager, Hair/Makeup Manager, and Tech Assistant.

3. JOIN AN ENGINEERING INTRAMURAL TEAM!!!
Make new friends, get active, and have fun on one of the Guelph Engineering teams. This semester’s teams are Flag Football and Dodgeball! Sign up fast as only the first 18 people to sign up for each team will be allowed to join. Both teams are co-ed with roughly half the players being female. Registration is free and can be done on IM Leagues or follow these links:

4. POSITION OPENING ON ENGSOC – Secretary
There is an open position on EngSoc for secretary. Please consult the attachments for the duties of the secretary. There is also a nomination form that must be filled out. They can either be email to firstname.lastname@example.org or be printed and handed to the engsoc office. If no one is there you can slide it under the gate just email me that you have done so. Nomination forms are due Friday January 13th.
5. LAB FUND
The meeting will likely happen during week 5 (Feb. 8th or 9th). Request forms are available on the EngSoc website as well as additional Information: http://www.
handed in at the EngSoc office. This is largely targeted at upper years
(41X groups) and engineering organizations, any questions can be directed

A few weeks ago you may have filled out an online survey asking about which electives caused conflicts with your ENGG courses.
They have now made a change and have chosen the top 5 demanded electives for BIOMEDS, MECHS and BIOS and will make sure they don’t cross over the with ENGG core courses in future years.

8. NEW PRINTER IN 1319!!
The brand new printer in THRN 1319 is up and running this semester! It can print both black and white and colour, large format and can staple (must select in “print properties” before printing). Scanning is also a feature and is available via printers touch screen. More paper will be ordered this week. As always, email firstname.lastname@example.org with any problems.
